CHEAP
My ford was $315. Had it three years. Total of car and repairs = $1500. I just bought my new daily driver for quite a bit less than $2,000. Mf GF bought a 1987 Mazda 626 for $900. Kept it two years, cost less than $2000. But she changed all belts, hoses, even timing belt. Tuesday she picked up her 1999 Civic Coupe, 21k miles, for $10,000. Trade in Blue is $10,500. CHEAP CHEAP Don't spend over $2,000 on your first car. Learn about checking the oil, checking tire pressure, changing the oil, basic tune up stuff, and easy repairs. ALL cars will need repairs, and cheaper cars are cheaper to run and insure. Get something cheap, don't mod it. Save your money and inheritence for later on.
